Program Overview

Desire2Learn Help

The online system used with Florida's Alternative Certification Program is called Desire2Learn (D2L). The following steps are what you will need to do to start using the D2L system.

1. Contact your school district supervisor in charge of the Alternative Certification program to get a username and password.
   
   
2. Go to the Desire2Learn login page and fill in your user name and password and click on "Login". Afterwards, you will come to the D2L home.
   
   
3. To modify your password, click on the "My Password" link found at the top left of the page.
   
   
4. To modify your e-mail address, click on the "My Email" link found at the top left of the page.
   
   
5. You are now ready to start on the Alternative Certification program by clicking on the "Florida's Alternative Certification Program" or other appropriate link. If you need further help from this point, either use the "Help" link in the D2L system or contact your school district supervisor.
